I went into MMEE on Friday and Saturday mornings and met up with Ade, Mike Cole (and Tony), Colin (Twizseven), Andy (Chipmaster), Sanjay. If I've forgotten anyone, sorry but the memory isn't what it was. It was great to finally link on-line names to real faces and people.

The display of MEM engines was superb, and the makers are about five times more productive than I have ever managed, particularly Mike C!

I'd love to exhibit my three efforts but even the thought of carting them makes my back ache.

Thanks again for the welcome and the inspiration,

David T

Hi Ade,
I'm at the "Knights Suite" (a room, not a suite!) next to the Mallory Court hotel.

I'd very much like to meet up with you and Mike for a meal, a natter and a drink, I'll have a rental car so getting places is easy.

Yup, I have taken a bite out of a beer glass, but I didn't swallow. And no, I'm not going to elaborate  .

I'll PM later.

David

I'll be in the UK for most of October, so I've booked a room nearby the Event Centre for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (although I may have to cancel the Saturday and move on).

I'll get into the exhibition on Friday and Saturday and try to catch up with as many MEM people as possible.

I just spent a day or two replacing all the embedding links in this topic for pictures from OneDrive, bl$#$y Microsoft changed the format a while ago without tell me (or anyone?).

Most of the pictures now show again. I managed to diagnose the problem when someone wanted help with the Wyvern and i replaced all those links as well.

Guess I have fix up the tandem compound as well.

Replacing the pictures didn't take all that long, just did a few posts at a time.

The change to OneDrive embedding URLs has stripped all the pictures from my Mastiff build log and most of them from the Throp compound so they are next for treatment. Bl###y Microsoft!!!
