Very nice modeling. Out of curiosity are you using the free version or one of the paid subscriptions? Reason I ask is (aside from free means anyone on the internet can search for, view, copy, and export your CAD models), I've also read that people using free have experienced lag with models of any complexity. This comment came from, lets call them 'more experienced users' who through hobby/work accounts had the ability to view the same model flipping back & forth between Free & Paid on similar PC hardware. The issue (he felt) was Onshape dynamically manages cloud server loads across its multi-tenant architecture & favored paid users during peak overall platform usage...something along those lines. Again, maybe not a concern for a weekend hobby warrior. And I wasnt quite convinced of this particular users test if for example his hobby subscription was at home at internet speed A and his work subscription was at internet speed B, that might override his perceived refresh speed.

Quote from: RReidBack on page 6 of this thread is a brief discussion of the clever and patented H-S adjustable valve tappet assembly, and whether I could or should try to replicate it in my build. In the end I settled on a good suggestion from Mike (Vixen) that is much simpler to make and more robust at this size, while still retaining a reasonably accurate appearance.

Must be winter (or end of summer chores) coming in your parts too LOL.
Its not quite clear to me how the parts function, can you elaborate. I see a threaded portion on the steel top cap, but how is it retained rotationally in the valve? Is the brass cup some kind of sliding bushing? ... that also retains the spring?

Is this the feature you're looking for?

AVTUR I'm intrigued by the 3DP thread. It actually looks better than I would have expected, but I really have no basis to compare. So you are going to run a die over these threads? Is the picture showing that finished result quite yet or this is still 3DP? Did you specify threads in the print job to make the die work easier - as opposed to ommitting the threads altogether & just running the die conventionally?

Oh you incorporated the threads in the 3DP part, bonus points.
