    Eric,
Thanks, I'm assuming that the "a" behind the SE-2 signifies it's reversible. It's also missing the alcohol pot. I realized it was missing something but since you mentioned it I realized my Wilesco has a whistle so it makes sense. I see a source of parts on line so I will look into replacing the piston since it was a well used and loved engine. Almost forgot any idea what vintage it is?

I recently was notified by my neighbor of this Mamod setup. It is a single cylinder single acting and reversing. I can find nothing on line that identifies a reversing
    Mamod.

It was at a thrift store, photos are front & rear. the lever shifts between the two exhausts exiting into the stack.

Yes, that whole section in the video are Scott's engine builds. His specialty is building working engines from the copyright drawings. Some of the engines couldn't possibly have worked as drawn so he modified them in such a way as to stray away from the copyright to make it work. As I recall from talking with him, most of them were never built. I think I have photos of the info sheet that gives more details but in a quick search on my cell I can't find.

I met Eric once at one of the engine shows, have a picture of him somewhere darned if I can find it. I also hadn't realized Stan had passed. Have a photo of him but naturally he's blinking! I enjoyed Eric's banter and sense of humor, also his talk and photos of his car. Rest in peace friend!

I might as well chime in! I use Alibre Design V25. I have used Alibre since I bought my Tormach mill in 2007. Now mind you it's gone through many iterations since then. When I was thinking about buying the mill I took CAD/CAM at the local technical college and they used Master CAM. Didn't seem to transfer much to Alibre or SprutCam which was the CAM part of the mill package. I haven't changed because of the learning curve. Seems easier to muddle along than trying to learn something new.
